Abstract

Crystalline zeolites with the MWW topology are readily synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using long-chain quaternary ammonium cation like octyltrimethylammonium from high silica gels free of alkali metal ions, which implies a new route for preparing MWW-type metallosilicates.
