Abstract

Grid application is being boosted in last years by the growing demand of low cost computing resources and idle computing capacity in collaborative research and development environments, and widely applied to not only scientific computing but business field. However, the research on transaction coordination of Grid services has achieved less progress. In this paper, we describe a framework for implementing transactions on Grid services, which can coordinate atomic transaction and business transaction, and give a brief introduction to the technical concepts of the distributed transaction model designed for Grid services. Then, we focus on specific transaction coordination that can apply to model designed for Grid services.
