Abstract
Self-assembly is known as a powerful method to regulate the properties of nanomaterials. In this research, we report a facile strategy to tune the photoluminescence properties of Ag nanoclusters. Self-assembled Ag nanoclusters with different morphology were obtained by controlling the experimental conditions, such as the synthetic temperature and solvents. The morphology has significant influence on the photoluminescence property of self-assembled Ag nanoclusters. The Ag nanoclusters could self-assemble to form nanostrips, and the emission wavelength redshifts with the elongation of nanostrip. We finally obtained one kind of self-assembled Ag nanoclusters with quantum yield as high as 61%, which was a great improvement comparing with previous reports.
