Abstract

3-Mercaptopropionic acid monolayer protected grid nanodusters (MPA-MFCs) were synthesized and characterized by transmission electron microscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray photodectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The exact value of quantized double-layer capacitance of MFCs in aqueous media was obtained by differential pulse voltammograms.
